Congratulations! Your custom pet photography experience has officially begun! Thank you for booking with Wander Pet Photography and presenting us with the opportunity to help you create beautiful photographs with your best friend.
My goal is to help you capture the legendary love you have together. The bond that makes your adventure so uniquely yours. The sparkly eyes, the soft ears, the hilarious expressions and the deep connection. We will capture it all so you can enjoy them for the rest of your days.

This guide will walk you through your photography experience. It contains information on how to prepare for your session, as well as what to expect during and after your session. ​
Pre-Session Questionnaire
Let's customize your adventure! To kick things off, we have a couple of housekeeping items. If you haven't already, please complete the questionnaire linked below. If you opted in for a consultation call, we may have already covered some of these items. Please still complete the questionnaire. This will ensure I have things properly documented to customize your experience.
The Contract
Please complete your Session Contract. You should have an email in your inbox with a link to your Wander Pet Photography Session Contract. We like to keep things pretty easy-going over here at WPP Headquarters, so I promise it isn't anything you'll need to contact your lawyer to review. 🤓
Location
YOUR SESSION
After hours of scouting locations in the Indianapolis area, we have a line-up of incredible spots where we know we can create gorgeous images for your session. We are very picky about our chosen locations and many factors play into the spot we will recommend for you.

The time of the year: Down to the week in most cases!

The safety of the location: Busy streets nearby, pokey plants and leashed dogs.

Accessibility: Restrooms, parking availability and trails that fit your accessibility needs.
Our goal is to make sure your session location is not only beautiful, but also calm and safe. We select the perfect backdrop to bring out your pet's personality in the best way possible, which is why we carefully select your session location for you.
We don't like to leave a lot up to chance when it comes to our locations. That's why we will personally scout your location prior to your session to ensure the landscape is just as beautiful as we expect it to be. For that reason, you will get the final location 1-2 weeks before your session, including details on exactly where to meet me inside of the park.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IF MY DOG ISN"T GREAT WITH COMMANDS? DOES HE HAVE TO KNOW "SIT" AND "STAY"?
Absolutely not! Your dog doesn’t need to be a trained model, they just need to be themselves. As a pet-specific photographer, I specialize in working with all types of personalities, from the easily distracted to the wildly enthusiastic. I’ll guide the session so your dog feels relaxed and engaged, using techniques (and yes, treats) to capture those soulful, joyful expressions you love. The result is portraits that reflect your dog’s unique spirit, no formal training required.
WHAT IF MY DOG CAN'T BE OFF LEASH?
That’s not a problem at all. In fact, most of the dogs I photograph are safely on leash during their session. Safety is always the top priority, especially in outdoor locations. And here’s the magic: those leashes are removed from your final images through professional editing, so you get the look of a free-roaming pup without any of the risk. It’s one of the ways I ensure a worry-free, polished experience from beginning to end.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T COOPERATE?
Don’t worry, weather is something we plan for. I keep special availability on my calendar for Rain Dates Reschedules. If conditions aren’t ideal, we will simply reschedule with no added fee. You’ve entrusted me with capturing something truly meaningful, and I’ll make sure every detail (from the light to the location) supports the beautiful images we’re creating together.

ENJOY YOUR SESSION. This is when the magic happens! Enjoy your custom photography session with your best friend.

THE IMAGE REVEAL. Three weeks after your session, you will pick out your favorite images and purchase your products at your Ordering Appointment.

ARTWORK DELIVERY. A few weeks after your Order Appointment, your artwork will be ready for delivery. We have all artwork delivered to WPP Headquarters for quality assurance. Once we are satisfied that everything in your order looks absolutely perfect, we will set up a time to hand-deliver your artwork to your home.

THE TESTIMONIAL. The day after your artwork delivery, you'll get an email to tell us about your experience. We absolutely adore sharing happy tales with our social media following and future clients. The world deserves to hear all about your pet's adventure!

​As you know by now, this isn't just a photography session for your dog. We are on a mission to create stunning artwork of your legendary love for your home. Below you'll find additional information about Collection Options and a la carte product pricing.
Collection Options
Wander Pet Photography specializes in creating beautiful custom artwork. Collections are a great way to get the best of both worlds: Artwork for your home + a collection of your favorite images.

Luxury Collection options start at $1495 and feature a mis of wall art, heirloom albums or portfolio boxes, and fine-art prints. The digitals of the images chosen for your products are included!
Digital Collections start at $995. This is a perfect option for clients who want to create wall art on their own. We always provide printing recommendations for you to create artwork whenever you're ready.
