Heritage Park at White River in Fishers, Indiana is one of the most beautifully layered session locations on the north side of Indianapolis. Tucked along the White River off Eller Road, this 33-acre park holds a surprising amount of variety in a single visit: manicured gardens, the Historic Ambassador House (a restored Greek Revival home dating back to 1826), open manicured lawns, and quiet wooded trails that wind down toward the river.

The newest addition to the park is the Bur Oak Bridge, which spans the White River and connects Heritage Park to Hazel Landing Park.

What makes this park exceptional for sessions is the range. We can easily move through several distinct environments, which translates into a beautifully curated collection of artwork for your home. 

Restrooms and parking are right at the entrance, and the park is dog-friendly with a standard leash policy. Heritage Park is one of my favorite location for summer and fall sessions!

After hours of scouting locations in the Indianapolis area, we have a line-up of incredible spots where we know we can create gorgeous images for your session. We are very picky about our chosen locations and many factors play into the spot we will recommend for you.

  • Your pet's comfortability around other people and pets.

  • The safety of the location: Busy streets nearby, pokey plants and leashed dogs.

  • Accessibility: Restrooms, parking availability and trails that fit your accessibility needs.

Our goal is to make sure your session location is not only beautiful, but also calm and safe. We select the perfect backdrop to bring out your pet's personality in the best way possible, which is why we carefully select your session location for you.

We don't like to leave a lot up to chance when it comes to our locations. That's why we will personally scout your session location prior to your session to ensure the landscape is just as beautiful as we expect it to be.
