Ritchey Woods in Fishers, Indiana is one of my favorite session locations in the Indianapolis area. This hidden gem comes alive in the fall, with its woodland trails bursting in rich autumn color.

The park’s main features include a scenic bridge and beautiful wooded paths, but it also offers manicured lawns and tall prairie grasses - all in one versatile location. Whether it’s spring or fall, Ritchey Woods consistently delivers a stunning backdrop that’s full of texture and seasonal charm.

Session Meeting Location

We will meet at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve in Fishers, Indiana. You can meet me in the parking lot, which is detailed in the location information below.

After hours of scouting locations in the Indianapolis area, we have a line-up of incredible spots where we know we can create gorgeous images for your session. We are very picky about our chosen locations and many factors play into the spot we will recommend for you.

  • The safety of the location: Busy streets nearby, pokey plants and leashed dogs.

  • Accessibility: Restrooms, parking availability and trails that fit your accessibility needs.

Our goal is to make sure your session location is not only beautiful, but also calm and safe. We select the perfect backdrop to bring out your pet's personality in the best way possible, which is why we carefully select your session location for you.

We don't like to leave a lot up to chance when it comes to our locations. That's why we will personally scout your session location prior to your session to ensure the landscape is just as beautiful as we expect it to be.
